VPA1.1

There have been many requests for VPA 1.6. The truth is that there is no real version 1.6. The version number 1.6 you see in some of the charts posted here was an internal trial version. The attempt was to create a mechanical system out of VPA. However we did not really succeed and further attempts were put on the backburner. Any we are presented the next version VPA1.1. We have included facility to plot support and resistance lines which are play a good role in volume spread analysis. Also included is the strength meter scan. Hope the new version will be helpful. Here is a screen shot of VPA 1.1.

Thank you! Great work. I wish I could code like that. The S/R lines are a great add, as is the volume scan. Thanks for the effort and for sharing.

Hi Karthik,

Thank you for the VPA indicator.

I just looked at the AFL code and see that you print to the screen the explanation of lvtbar2 twice (lines 119 and 122), is it on purpose?

Thx,

Yuval.

Hi,
Looks like brillant stuff - and thanks for sharing it. I'm trying to learn VSA and this will be a great aid. I can't, however, seem to download it via the "VSA and other AFL" link. It takes me to a file sharing page but there appears to be no accessable shared files. What am I missing? thanks.

Thank you for sharing your hard work. A friend just made me aware of VSA and so my journey begins. I appreciate being able to use your AFL for Amibroker. I just watched a about v4 of Tradersguide that says they have a scanner to find stocks using their trading set-ups. Are there a list of what these set-ups are for VSA and are you considering developing a scanner as well? Once again many thanks for your kindness.

Kindest regards,

Tim

Hello,
I wanted to say thank you for sharing your hard work. A friend introduced me to VSA just this past week and I am trying to understand the concept and how to trade it. If you have some time I would enjoy getting your views on how to trade it or perhaps showing me 1 setup to look for as a means to understanding the concept. My email address is raven4ns@yahoo. ca . Again, thank you for your kindness.

Warmest regards,

Tim

Hi Karthik,

I went through you blog, very interesting aspects on VPA.. Am a learner in this and a begineer in amibroker. I need to know what are those square , round , trangles with different colours indicate. Request your input on these . And do those trading systems u said to try , does it work on RT data or EOD as valid entry and exit( at least bare minimum). I would still love to learn on VPA..very interesting for me to read them.

Keep it up. Gr going.
